I got a text the other day it said.

"What was the first thing Brocky heard when he got to Heaven?"

Answer " Crikey what are doing here."

It's funny I could imagine it happening.

Was he not just a race driver who died had it not been for his status we would have never looked twice. I can recall only this year he showed his human side by doing the dirty on his wife of 28 yrs. I am sure there will be plenty who idolise he who is Peter Brock.

Dude! :jesus Thats so not true.

He was a very compassionate man who helped many many wayward young uns get back on track.

He supported a number of charities and had his own foundation.

He did an amazing amount of good.

GM screwed him over about the 'polariser'

The man would sign autographs in the dark by torchlight.

So he separated from his wife- said it was a very hard decision, as it would be.

Watch the Talking Heads interview, it might get rid of those clouded glasses you wear... :puke

Kool karma to him RIP

This might sound insensitive, but think of all the weeks were none of our heroes have diied, got to be a blessing!

The both died doing what they love in the big outdoors!

But one thing that did upset me is the way the media does tributes, i found out that Steve died by the tribute show by accident flicking channels on my honeymoon and i was not impressed with the way 7 was reporting on the death...did anyone else find that?

But anyway Peter and Steve are what epitimises the Aussie, i just hope the families will be able to grieve properly.

It was such a shock...both Steve and Peter ...and the same week...CRIKIE :jesus

But I had someone say the other day the the 3rd person died before these two....Don Chip .... someone who really challenged Australian politics. He's death wasn't sudden as such but we did loose another great Austrlalian even if you didn't ever vote for him...he did give the two main stream parties a good challenge, just his predecessors stuffed the party up and it hardly exists anymore

I feel for their partners especially Steves wife .... her life would be very surreal right now still ...then there are his young sweet kids... I can understand the need for privacy right now for the family

Work fell into silence as the news of Peters death crossed the floor...and it's a big place ... it was eerie

Sadly but hopefully we have lost the third and there are no more

3 great Aussies lost may they RIP

It does make everyone stop and think for a while
