Something a little Different
For the American members amongst us they will have no dought seen a few of these over the years but to date mine is the ONLY CONFIRMED registered

The picture shown is as it was up till approx 18 months ago and is currently under going a complete rebuild including all new bar work/cage,new colour
(fusia which will be as close to the original gelcote as possible,etc etc etc

This particular photo was taken at the recent VWMA drag weekend at Warwick Qld where i ran a best @ 9.88 over the 1/8 mile,which i considered not bad
for a VERY SAD 1835cc

I have owned this car for nearly 16 years.
It was formerly owned by Peter Keegan as his hilll climb car,
and has run as fast as 9.76 and 147mph (236kmh)

Car is all original paint... not sure on color name but looks pretty much the same as your interior? One of the Vw books i own indicates that flint
grey was one of the original colors for my year, so i guess so...
Find it amusing you have a km/h speedo in USA and i have a Mph in Australia
