Hi! I have a 1972 Type 3 squareback in mustard! I'm actually needing to sell this beast (very sadly), as I don't have anywhere to store it while I
work on it. If anyone is interested in picking this up (for a bargain), or know of anyone who wants one, please reply and let me know!

Got to love Jimbo`s "Nelly" fantasic car !!! Jim I am not sure how you can make it look any better !!! What sort of mods are you thinking or are you
going to keep us holding ?
We should have our square on the road next week. I cant wait.
P.S Is it lowered three in the front and two in the rear ?

I'm not sure yet which way to head Matt. Maybe red rims and whitewalls, for the hot rod look, or more Type 3 accessories, like I found in the US that
are sensational, and not seen in Oz much at all.
Where's the pics of the Square!?! You find those gravel gaurds? Volkkommen lowered Nellie, so I'm not sure what was done to achieve the stance.. I
know it can't go much more without bags..

Just picked up my third type three today! will try and get some pics up next weekend. i have a 64 square which is my daily, 64 notch which is a joint
project with dad and picked up a late (not def on year) square today. none of them are what you would call tip top shape (not even close actually!)
but once the kombi is finished i want to get stuck into the 64 square, nothing over the top, just a really clean daily. |

I've seen many, there's two white ones in the Browns Plains area, plus I've seen a nice brown Notch hanging around too.

ok i'm lazy and computer illiterate so can't post. i currently have 5 type 3's. 3 of these are on the way out.
i am keeping my 72 square as it may be used in a musical later this year.
i am also holding onto my 66 fasty. it's in great nic, and may soon become a daily driver for me.
will post pics sooner or later

My project getting there!
4" narrowed beam, dropped spindles and CB disc brake kit went in this week.
Next, new loom, headliner, rubber and glass.
Anyone with a Ghia that is willing to help me out with reference pictures of Ghia window and door seals in place, and certain sections of the loom
showing where it runs? I'll give specifics if someone is willing to put their hand up. Long time since I broke her down (pre digital cameras)
Cheers.

Just an update on my '67 Square and the right hand floorpan replacement. The old crusty one was removed, and the heater channels and tunnel were all
solid.
The new pan half I bought has the right profile and dimensions, but the monkey who put the bolt holes in can't measure, so I have to re-drill all the
holes to match the body. Some of the holes on the new pan don't even come close to the original ones!
I spoke with Kimm from Indian Automotive and he wasn't surprised to hear that things didn't match. He's done a few Type 3's in his time, and the
key word is fabrication - there's not much available for Type 3, and of what there is, a lot of the aftermarket panels are just not up to
scratch.
Of course, the other alternative is to find another pan, but I'm not up for another body off resto just yet.
So, out with the drill press....
