OH WELL SAID
I might increase the price
just for fun

yeah Parklea was a good site but we ran out of room and we are getting close at Fairfield but theres NOT TOO Many choices

Exactly, I know one of the dudes grizzling on here took home over $700.00 last year,
Its a good value day out, you don't get much for 40 bucks these days, who's been to the easter show this year?

So much for a committee deciding the prices.......sounds like its run by a little megalomanic/dictator. Hope the books get audited regularly.

I said almost...
Tell you what, as $40 is too steep I'll lend you guys 20 bucks so you can do your VW stall thing. All you have to do is agree on here to pay me back
5 bucks per week for the next 5 weeks and everyone's happy!

What a load of nonsense, absolutely nothing constructive in this topic.
On one side guys complaining about spending well worth $40 for swap stand inc. entry in a well organized show (which makes them sound like tight
asses)
On the other side an organizer complaining about the complainers and throwing smart remarks instead of motivating them into coming to the show.
Let's put the bullshit aside and try to make this a really cool awesome event, cause its the patrons and their cars that make the day fun,
all the organizers can and have done in the past to their credit is to actually put a good show ON.

I used to love going to the Bargo swap meet for years until some bloke tripped over leaving a porta loo and sued them for $100k and the club went
bankrupt because they didnt have insurance
they all moaned when they killed off the drags at the nats but we all know that no-one would actually pay the entry fee to pay for it ! WSID cost lots
more to hire than Fairfield showground
I am pretty certain that the supersprint has cost the club money every year also
when you look at how much space a swap meet space takes up compared to a car in the show its not bad value plenty of people must agree spending
hundreds in fuel to get there
If you cant justify it dont do it
value for money is a concept VW people dont really get! why else would you be spending porsche money on Kombis

probally because of the cost involved in putting the show on
that would make it dearer that the other shows for a swap site simple

Here's an idea for the RoM.
Charge everyone $40 because obviously they are going to save money at the swap meet (and they live in Sydney and are used to being fleeced) by not
paying retail and GST, so it's win-win money spinner.
Customer service is not dead in Australia.
