i dont really have to worry about sleeping in as i start work usually at 6pm and work till the wee hours.
its called fridays at the wharf tavern. i think they just called it the wharf tavern there for a while. downstairs is the tavern bit with pokies, live
entertainment, bar, pool tables and then u pay 7 bucks to get upstairs to the nightclub bit with a DJ and dance floor.
much nicer than buderim tavern.

youre a worry kikko... :P
yeah, my legs have adjusted to pedal power, its awesome! i can chose when i want to be a vehicle, and when i want to be a pedestrian!
rode all the way home from uni on wednesday in 35 minutes (gardens point to paddington)
the only person that has even remotely come close to taking me out (i.e. knocking me off my bike) was a girl in a white convertible beetle!!!
(!!!!!!!!!!)
so i think im going to put a vw badge on my basket, that way i can wave to veedubs and i wont get taken out by chicks in vert beetles!!

making your bug proody is a great feeling... all nice and shiny and smelling fresh with no old lunchboxes and textbooks in the back... what are you
fixing up on edith? your avatar pic looks sweet... she look perfect! unless youre doing some detailing or polishing without a buffer (a fantastic
workout!) i hope you are fixing her undercover because there is rain coming tommorow supposedly.
a nice hot bath with half a 500gm epsom salts box in it works an absolute treat when im feeling sore
my dad informed me this afternoon that he got his friends welder, and is downstairs practicing as he hasnt welded in around 20 years...
he sounds really keen on helping me fix cherry... good to see my dad taking an interest in my car it must remind him of his old one, and his dads 3 (an oval and 2 early models)
you know, i think he secretly likes to take it out for a drive now and then :P

silly question.. but what exactly is being fixed on the two bugs in question? one involves welding... which is a slight worry, and one involves ..
polishing? late night reconditioning club

yeah,
I am lucky enuf there is little welding to be done. I found sme, wich big a is fixing....
But mostly just cleaning etc on Edith...inside door is being fish oiled, floors scrubbed and tarred...fenders panel beaten, puttied (as little as
possible) then primed and painted....
My daughter has designs ready to put on 'those' bruises....well i figured she has a nice big butterfly on her already, so some more on the fenders
won't hurt...(and thank goodness daughter is a great artist)
interior headliner is now 'patched, parcel tray has been covered...
And when it is all completed...she will be getting 'cut' on her paintwork, then polished all over. Andher chrome is getting tiied up too.
I am also trying to find out about polishing her wheels...
As some stage I will need to get her new rubbers all round, but that will be down the track...
My otherr cars are getting a little jealous, so I've had to promise them some attention in next few weeks...(too many cars, not enough time)
Starbug..i think ur father is like big a...he objected at the start....like what r u thinking...no i dont want an old second hand that's gonna break
down first tiem u look at it....now he's 'come on, time for the cars'...'Can I take Elton off ur hands'...'I have some really good plans for
him'...'what do u want em to do for Edith'....
He nows calls our cars by their names...not their colors...he's even wondering what to call his car...
Hopefully Cherry will come up nice when your dads done...and u mite just find another vw in their garage when urs is finished...Can u see it...ur mum
and dad out for sunday drives in their own little VW...u should suggest it and see what happens...."hey dad, I saw this real nice looking little car
on the forum...wanna go check it out....no no, not for me, for u & mum"
lol...
dubless.

Speaking of selling Beloved Beasty Vehicals,
She has done me proud but it has come to that time where I think about the next Rego or sell my Beddy...
I have not driven the Bedford in like 4 months or more so time to direct the funds to the manx, and rightly so.
Sowie to all you Kombi Drivers I think they great.. BUT THE BEDFORD ROCKS.
Will be a Sad day when she sells..

hey kikko, how r u gorgeous..
hmmm, just finished working on Edith for weekend....she is so nice...
just doing tailoring for her at the moment...new door trim and stuff...
Big A did the panel work...until i saw him, and then took him off it and showed him how u really do it...huh...who said women were useless...give us a
panel, and simply place the pic of someone we peeved with at designated spot...and voile panel sorted!
But he tuned her for me, so happy with that. he also charged the battery to capacity and checked to see if we missed panels or rust...
so we had a fun time playing in edy...and she responded well to the efforts...

Well I am asking around $4000 for the beddy, needs some surface rust sorted I guess just on the bottom of the rear windows and another spot here and
there, it has rear seats as well and a bunch of parts..
She is UN-CHOPPED and has the original Roof and Floor with no Rust.
EFI engine 3.3l 6cyl, Hwy diff and a disposition that scares Pedestrians for some reason, I think it is the twin Thermo Fams sound like I am revving
the truck to line them up...
He He He, She has done me proud..
