 ok,

I have this uncle, who was very frisky in his mid teens...and he got two ladies pregnant (not same time) but as u know, back then (40yo) was not a
good thing...so the babies were put up for adoption...

Anyway, about 10 years ago, my cuz found out he had two older sisters he had never ever known about. He was about 20 at the time...so he was real
upset...So he told his dad he wanted to find out what had happened to his sisters..in time for hsi 21st.

Well his 21st came and went, and there was no luck in finding the sisters...

But about 2 years later..tragedy hit....

Their youngest son was involved in a car accident. He and his friend had gone out bush bashing in a car, on friends property, and hit a
tree....friend survived, walked away in fact...J not so...He suffered horrific injuries...

He was transported by chopper to brisbane mater, with his dad on board. his mother was in car....and on her way to hospital. The older brother
called families in brissy to let us know, and my mum went out to meet the parents at hospital...but J died before chopper landed...

His mother was so torn, as u can imagine...just devestated

Well J was cremated, and his ashes held....until his family could decide what too do. His family balmed himself, his mother blamed everything...was
so bad to watch them go thru it. They were the nicest couple...

Anyway, through all of this, eldest son kept moving (slowly mind u) but he kept everything together.

And just before the 1st year anniversery, he found his eldest sister...she was in her mid 30s. So he arranged to meet her (without letting parents
know) and was floored when he did. She looked just like us...and I mean JUST like us. Girls in our families all look similar...vey weird...

He was so excited....so he explaiend to the sister what happened, and why he alone was there.....that youngest had died etc etc...and that soon
memorale service would be held...for their brother...

Meantime dad had go to the whole....lost my daughters, lost my son...all my fault...but eldest son still didn't tell his dad about his daughter... He
figured now was not time yet...

So after a few more meetings, memoral service was looming, and so A asked the sister to come. She could just 'blend in' she looked so much like
us...

Well service was on...and they were all kinda looking at this poor girl A was sitting next too....And she went to the serive afterward too....

His dad kept going...u looking familar' and finaly asked her name...well A never told a lie...and not this tiem either...so he introduced her by
name...

 His father almost died.....

he cried so much that nite....and the mother too...they talked and talked and talked....and as I understand it, haven't stopped talking...

She ended up becoming part of the family, a ver welcome member too. They have since located the other sister, who has been welcomed as well
(apparently problems from her adopted mothers side as i understood it..not sure..but was sorted)

My uncle and his wife got out of their industry, and now work with housing for the handicap, and he does 'sensor' gardening...that is building
gardens for blind etc...

A is no longer the 'eldest child' but being pampered by his sisters...and they all make sure their together at least once a month...They also meet
for J anniversary.

So there u have a happy adoption story....well kinda...

Lost a son, but found his daughters, and eventually, found peace....

 im ok now... ish.

i went out most of the day yesterday, came home at 2 30am, got up and went to cronulla beach with my good friends, all of which are going through some
pretty tough times. misery loves company, and so a good time was had by all.

i just spoke to her on the phone... and i have the feeling everything is going to be okay, itll work itself out and there's no point in spending
another day moping over it.

something amusing happened to me on the way home from work tonight.

whilst riding home on my bike at midnight, uphill, and very tired, i got told to get off the footpath (which in this particular part of town doubles
as the bike path) by some pissed champ of an 18 year old uni student.
when i stopped and looked at him as if to say "i think its a bit easier for you to move out of my way, you moron" he called me a F**king dyke.
to which came the retort "yeah, it must really hurt your manhood to know i get more p*ssy than you" and continued riding.
all i could hear as i rode away was "B****TCH!! you F**ken B***TCH!!!*

10million to me for such a witty retort, -100 to him for not seeing that one coming!!

 oh and ARGGGHHHHHHH

anyone in ippy next week who can play pool...just in case...

friend wants to go up to her cousins pool hall...and play some games...problem is...i suck...she excells...

and if i dont sink ball before end of game, i have to run the hall naked....so i end up having to beg the patrons to help me out...much to her
laughter...and she loves to miss a ball at end just to watch me beg them...

my other friend said she'll teach me to sink a ball (she can't come there herself) ...but man I am so bad....and it doesn't help much...more often
than not she sinks all balls from break.....arrrgggghhh (never have friends whose families are state champs..)

only way i can remotely sink one is if i get her really really drunk and she misses the balls enuf times to give me chance...(which i did once)

otherwise i'm back to begging again....

i can feel a sudden illness coming next weekend....will it be me or the kids i wonder??...hehe

well i had to friggen spoil the quiet week end by saying somehting didnt i!!!!
saturday nite was the busiest its been for a long time on a saturday and to top it off we had another guy doing glassy who had
never done it before and hes only usually in the bar and hes not even good at that!!!! i pretty much did mine and his work the whole nite!!! i ended
up telling him to go do my area because i had all my stuff done and no glasses on my floor. and i was doing his. i walked into his glass room there
were about 6 unsorted trays of dirty glasses on the bench. the RTD fridge was getting low on all the popular drinks. they needed ice in the bar. there
were no clean schooners left in the fridge, his floor was a pig-sty the ashtrays had domes of cigarette butts piling up in them. there was rubbish
everywhere. ive never worked so hard to catch up. i wish the bloody place would stop hiring incompetants. my shoulder muscles are so sore im lucky i
have sundays off.

just had a psychology exam... 30%.

i pretty much sorted out 95% of the right answers in the 10 minutes perusal time.
5 minutes to colour in the circles
5minutes to figure out the 4 questions i wasnt sure of
10 minutes to go over and check everything.

20 minutes out of a 60 minute exam... EASY!!!

*dances around the room in great joy and happiness at having walked all over the exam*
