haha,..I got mine from a guy in Norway,..figured since it was a European model Beetle, it'd go well with it 
any possiblity you could check the spare tire area when you have a chance to see if the color is Flint Gray? I've been "toying" with the idea of
respraying my car its original color, but havent seen another Flint Gray to compare and get an idea if I really like the color or not
EDIT: I just saw your speedo has "Australia" written on it,..pretty cool!

Sorry checked behind the spare and all under the bonnet...
But the only plaque tells you type, weight, chassis no. etc..
As far as i know its the only info plate on the car, and the glovebox booklet and maintenice records never mention a color code, i am actually quite
interested in finding out what it is myself, sorry i cant help

Thanks dude. Its doesn't acctually have rego at this stage i took those plates off my commodore that i sold so i could see the car with some plates
on it lol.
Im getting there though its going in to get re-wired in a couple of weeks. And hoping for an 1835 engine in the near future.
