Good to see that it is now back to the tune-up stage.
Your tone indicates all went well.

Do you guys plan to run at Warwick if testing at WSID goes to plan?

trent got back to dyno today. We had to order some tyres as the car was very hard to dyno on slicks. Preliminary tuning has been ok, still a long way to go.

Thankyou for the comments, trent will be doing more dyno work tom. just a little at a time. Dave that run is about 6000 rpm. We hope to run at least 9000. Boost is still low around 26 psi, we need to see around 36 psi.
The new tyres have made the car very easy to dyno, a frew straps and it has been ok.

maybe more to report tom.

sorry for the delay in report.

We have encounterd a few issues with the fuel system. The electronic fuel pump could not supply enough methanol once we started to increase boost. After much thought it was decided not to run the car with the current set up therefore trent has decided to switch to a mechanical fuel pump incorporating dry sump pump to carry out dry sump conversion with tank heater and pump to be supplied by pauter and ron lummus. these items should be leaving the US next week. After a little fabrication to install tank and heater etc, Trent will keep everyone up to date with tuning process.

tires are just for dyno. Destroyed one set of slicks in 2 runs. So far these have done 6 runs and are still perfect. They actually give you a lot more grip than the drag slick.

trent has been busy building a street car, but is now back onto the race car. just a few shots of new set up with mechanical pump, new hard fuel lines , oil tank/ heater. etc etc.
