BIG THANKS TO ALL ABOVE !!!!!! , Very tierd now after getting home safe and unloading car , and gear .
It was good close racing , had to beat a Qld first round , then a friend second round (had to wait for ever 11.05 to Henrys 12.35 ), had a bye run
third round but ran it through back door ( lost oil pressure on way to pits) more tomorrow , the final race was great becouse I was shitting myself
about oil pressure but I caught him easy then played beside him but he allso broke out (11.746 on a 11.80 dial up )
Lots more tomorrow night
Brad and Bobbie thanks for letting us stay at your place ( kids too ) and lunch too Saturday .Stock for the headache and laughs
Thanks fellow Vw racers , Henry , Ben , Brad .
Big THANKS to buddy Rod Richardson , all over good guy in my life !

Sounds like a great weekend. Glad everyone made it home ok, and Pete, you little ripper!!!!
What an awesome pass, 1.499 60 ft...very cool.
I reckon Rod won't want that motor back, damn thing's no good if it can't hold oil pressure for a 1/4 mile !!!!
You better keep it and do some work on it hey?????

Henry i'm always up for shinanegans. As for the motor I need a new one as that old thing will be way too slow to get me into the 10's. Also watch
for the Junka . Having seen the Dyno sheet and weight it should be interesting.

Yep , Dave we go back a long way and time in the vw drag scene . Many girls have past in my life over the years and trips up to willowbank in your old
1200 bug and white type 3 , still seem like only a few years back . Its been so good that we both have run 10's the same month and year , so I should
remember this time for life !!Thanks again dude !!
We didn't take any video footage of runs but one of Brads mates got the 10sec pass from the hill .
Rod was able to take a few pics ,

Great pictures dude.
What was the list of times you ran over the day,
and where was the tune-up compared with Portland?
Good to see Ben running so well, and beginning to transform/personalise the car.
I see new windows, doors and wheels!!
Brad, car looks great, and should be a rocket once bugs are ironed out.
Whats the deal with that exhaust?!
Looks pretty salubrious!.
Henry's car is looking good, and performing well for something that is no lightweight.
When are you going to slow it back down to the 12.8 to 12.9 zone?!
What were your runs and speeds like through the day Henry?

To rXc3NtR1c, Thanks for the race - there's always next time, Come around and say hello if you are at any Sydney Dragway meetings where you see the
yellow beetle.
As to lifting your game, I reckon we can ALL lift our game in some way or another!!
Dave, I have to get it to launch and 60' consistently first before I can slow it down
I am missing one of my time cards for Compak (the one I had with rXc3NtR1c). If I can find it then I will post as I would rather post the full set.
I am still recovering from the heat of the weekend - getting old you know.
Looking at reaction times of Pete's run with me, either both of us were horribly late for our run or just a bit early for the run after us!!! (room
for improvement)

Craig,it weighs 787 Kilo with driver on Sydney Dragway scales with little fuel - I normally run 1/2 tank (If you can guess my weight, you can work
out the weight of the car)

Thats light compared to my over 900kg race weight at WSID scales ......I think i will give it a diet at the end of the year, although I have to comply with rego !

It sure is light compared to your 900kg car, however, mine is drag only with no need for compromise.
Weight is relatively unimportant when looking at Pete's run with me. Handicapping is such a wonderful thing. It evens everyone out!!
Diet doesn't sit well with me or the car (currently) as I am not trying to compete with or match the ET's of the faster aspirated VW's..

Chatted to Pete last night and he couldn't remember what the weight of his car was lol.
Word travels fast I tell you. Saw the Alcorn brothers(run Honda's in A/M) on monday night at basketball and they already knew about Pete's win and
had seen footage. Plus hearing that he ran into the 10's has certainly got them wondering what they can do next to go faster....
