Just out of curiosity, does out show even have a swap meet?
i have sadly been away for the last couple of shows.
i hope we do and that it is up to par or we are going be slammed on here.
some people are like slinky's
they have no useful purpose
but they are fun to watch
when you push them down the stairs

I do a market stall every now and then selling the stuff on my banner below.
I pay anything from $50 to $70 for a day. At the Tattoo Expo I paid my part of $1500 (shared between 3 vendors) for a 3 day event. Wintersun is $450
for the three days. Obviously the organiser has to make a profit too in some way from you being there using their space to sell your products. That's
business. If I could pay $40 for every market I went to I'd be a happy man. You have to remember here that Club VW are taking on all of the third
party insurance liability, because I bet not all of the swappers have third party insurance.
Whilst running a market stall and running a swap stall are slightly different, with different overheads and profit margins, the theory is the same -
you have the advantage of a captive audience to put money in your pocket. The organisers in providing the captive audience have to be able to make
some money as well out of the equation. If you're selling $400 worth of stock through the swapmeet, $40 is nothing.
