As a project update I've finally got the car to startup ready. I discovered the throttle position sensor provided is stuffed, so ordered a new Haltech one today. I also have a faulty fuel fitting which was leaking, which subsequently allowed fuel onto the regulator fuel pressure guage, and ruining the clear 'plastic' lense (you'd think being a fuel pressure regulator that the components would be fuel resistant!!!!!!).

I'm positive the car will be running again next weekend. I'll keep you all posted.

:crazy:yes those little probs make for a great day NOT

How many temp sensors are you running to monitor the head temps with that setup? Be great if it works for road use.

Will do dude!

Probably a few weeks off driving, but atleast I can start it up and piss off the neighbours. Should stick the stinger on and pay back the guy over the back who insists on starting his shitty 2 stroke outboard up, and stinking out my house - not to mention the noise

Just looked back at the engine build, should go well with that combo, wedge ports too hmmmmm.
Go the payback with the stinky 2 stroke neighbour....deserves everything he gets .

Looks kick ass! It still has that retro look thanks to the satin black finish, and you have nailed the cooling issue at the same time.

Congrats dude!

Does the 5 blade have a distinctive sound? I have read somewhere that they did - and that they were only factory installed for 1 year in 75' for 2.7L 911 - but my memory could be failing me. Terry

Great numbers Reub. Great job.

That tensioner should be on the unloaded side of the belt, unless you guy's are doing something wierd up that way, and running your engine backwards.....could do it I guess.......reverse camshaft, backward running starter and flip the crown wheel.........
