I have put a few miles on it now and it's definately a new experience. It is fairly harsh to ride in with the stiff suspension and the heavy engine
mounts as well as the Bus rear bar.I have a little preload on the rear bar to take some strain off the front trans mount during full throttle gear
shifts. The 2 to 3 upshift hangs on a bit when pushed hard,so I will re check all the line pressures when I get a bit of spare time.I have to take it
back to Adelaide this weekend to get the ECU redone on the Dyno and fix a starting issue.I have blown all the insides from my new High Torque starter
from the States. The ECU is giving too much timing advance while cranking and I had a serious backfire which shredded all the reduction gears and the
Bendix.CIP1 do not sell parts for them-so I bought another one. After trying many places in the US for parts,I finally found an agent here that sell
the starters as well as keeping parts.I finished the extra oil cooler and fitted it along with the sandwich adaptor.Only ended up with the 2 oil lines
200mm long and made a stainless heat sheild to protect them from the exhaust.Still have to mount the cooling fan.I plan on taking it to the VW show in
Adelaide 18th Nov and then go to Melbourne the following weekend-if everything goes to plan.

No vids of it on the road.I have been to Adelaide and Melbourne with it for the VW shows. Can't believe the fantastic cars that turned up at both
shows-we have world class stuff being done here in Oz.Was still having trouble starting it and after trashing 2 new Hi Torque starters and flogging
out another Auto VW starter, the bloke doing the ECU finally figured what was happening.I took it back last week and he has fitted an ignition module
and coil from a VP V8 Holden and timed it differently-the timing stays at 0 until it's running. All is good now.Was too frightened to take it out
before, because there was always a chance the starter would shit itself B4 it fired.Took it to a car show here yesterday and drove it around a bit-very
impressed.Have had whitewalls grooved into the tyres for something different. Can now spend some time on getting my Drag Car going.

Now that I have all the issues with starting it fixed-I have put a Hi Torque starter back into it,and was wondering what everybody has done for the
bottom nut.The original 17mm nut is impossible to get at with a spanner,so I found one from the front trans mount-15mm spanner size with the 10mm
thread-but still can't get at it properly.Decided I had to make something-so came up with this.Milled a 13mm hex onto some 16mm stainless,drilled and
threaded it and now a piece of piss to tighten.
