Polishing Ceramic Coating

Been following the thread on Stainless Vs Steel and coments on ceramic coating

I have a custom header that I had ceramic coated but it has tarnished in the couple of years I have had it

Matt commented that ceramic coating needs to be polished - what do you polish ceramic coating with - Autosol??

I just thought I would ash in a new thread so others can gain the knowledge and not bog the other thread down

I just polished up my wifes ceramic coated phat-boy muffler from the merged collector to the muffler with autosol..It seemed to polish up the coating okay and removed road grime etc without scratching the coating.
Just my experience..maybe try an inconspicuous spot first?.

Sorry fellas .Polishing coated parts should be done with a non abrasive polish.Cheese cloth and something like Californian car image chrome cleaner.
