40 or 44 IDF

Trying to sort out an engine combo and so far have decided to go for 1916. How do you work out what size carbs to run? Looking at a W120 cam CB mini wedge port or the Los Panchito heads (need to do a bit more research there). Basically I would like to make 120hp reliably. Any info/advice from those who know is greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Dave

Run 44 IDF's, they are very tunable and will make that sort of power with out issue.

Thanks guys, wasnt sure if the 44s would be overkill on such a small engine. Means if I increase the size a bit later they will still be useable.
Cheers again

just make sure your 44 idf's are not porous, i had 2 brand new sets that were. i use 44 decades off Rod Penrose and they are very well made and put together better i believe.

I'm running 40mm Decades from Rod on my 2054cc engine (also from Rod) and they are great.

Greg
