77mm pistons for 1300 engine?

Having a devil of a time finding 77mm pistons for a 1300 motor. So far I've found some Brazilian NOS on the samba (hmm, not sure) and these suckers on justkampers...

http://www.justkampers.com.au/vw-beetle-parts/engine/barrel-pistons/111-198-0...

$700 before shipping... :(

There are however, 40hp 1200 77mm pistons available from CIP1...

http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=VWC-111-198-057-A

A lot cheaper.

What is the difference between these two pistons?

1200 has a 20mm pin and 1300 has 22 pin.
1300 barrel will be longer and thicker too.

If you want to just use the pistons you can have bushes fitted to the con rods.

BTW, if you were planning for a bit of a power upgrade, would you consider the 20mm pin to be significantly weaker than the 22mm?
