Need help with swing to IRS conversion
Hey all. Just. Need to find someone who could weld in the pivots into my 62 bug to convert it to IRS. I have the thing stripped and ready to go.
It's a bit out of my welding ability. Can take Pan to or at my place no worry. I'm in melb south east area. And help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for ya help.

I cannot help you as i do not live in your area, you also have to modify the shock towers on the rear as well and plate the bottom to restore some
strength, the one in my ghia has been done.

Thanks mate. I want to weld those pivots in then stick the swing axle in And stock motor so I can get it on the road. Then save up for gearbox motor
etc. could the rest of the strengthening be done with the pan and body together later. I hear so much conflicting things on this forum about IRS
conversion. Was going to try to find a 68 IRS pan but have all suspension and brakes for my 62 already. Thanks buddy.
