different wheel diameter legality
Hi-I'm looking at getting some wide steelys but the front are 13inch and the back are 14inch- is this legal?

section 4.2.4 pretty much puts things into context. 15mm bigger dia or 26mm smaller is what's allowed.

Depends where you live. NSW is 15mm smaller.

These are state regulations, the federal standards are only guidelines and are not compulsary.

Regs. vary state to state. However, section 4.2.4 of this doco. deals with *tyre* diameter, not *wheel* diameter. A "+2" fitment (i.e. 2" larger
wheel diameter with lower profile tyres is, I believe, acceptable in Vic. provided tyre diameter is maintained within these limits.

Depends on the year model of the car. Older cars don't need to comply to a lot of the adrs.

Yes overall tyre diameter not the rim/wheel itself. If anyone reads the article then that should be pretty self explanatory
