[WTB - VIC] Early (Pre '70) Type 3 Fastback

Hey guys.

As the title states, I'm on the hunt for an early fastback.

I have a work ute as a daily so i am looking for a fun weekend cruiser/project.

Please let me know if you have any leads.

Cheers

early fasty

Hi, I have a 66 fastback with a Mitsubishi 2L engine & adapter setup fitted. Was running but now has no carb. Radiator is mounted in the spare wheel well with hard lines running underneath to a coolant res in the engine bay. Battery is also mounted in the engine bay. Exhaust needs muffler remounting (supplied). No seats, fuel tank out, no rear shocks, no bumpers, late model rear 1/4 Panels & taillights fitted. Body is real straight & solid apart from the dent in the drivers door, some bubbling along the bottom of both doors, small rust repair needed under original battery spot & l/h/f foot area (floorpan). Everything else is there & on the car in rolling form. The car was originally white/cream but was painted in auspost red (housepaint /waterbased) which seems to have protected it pretty well, with some lite sanding it will be easy to get it back to white. Im at Woori Yallock east of melb. (3137). (55klms). $400.00. Regards Mike. 0488448470.

Thanks for the reply mike.
That sounds very reasonable but unfortunately that may be a little more work than I am hoping for.
Sorry I couldn't reply to your pm, it wouldn't let me as I don't have many posts.
Thanks anyway mate.
