Paint identification - 1959 Beetle


Where would i expect to see the identification of the paint used on a 1959 Beetle? Its like an off white colour....

It looks to be the same colour as my 59. Mine is alabaster, it has a sticker under the bonnet that has the code CLR 001 on it.
