The acc. pump squirter should be aimed to shoot into hole that develops as the butterfly opens. Adjustment is so the squirter initiates at the beginning of the throttle aplication. Once the pump adjustments are set, any off idle/low speed stumble is primarily due to linkage sync. The major problem of Kaddies is the linkage. It does not grow with the motor as it changes temperature, unless you upgrade to a Berg linkage kit.

Good luck and have fun :)

Ps vacuum advance dissy helps a bunch too - if you have a 009 mechanical advance only they can develop flat spots just off idle that are very similar to over fuel

It downloads and opens up in Adobe Reader fine for me on both my iPad and laptop.

ok, re-phrase that, it works but its an executable file, not a .pdf. And that makes some people nervous.

As for the accelerator pump function, theres 6 pages of good info on this samba thread http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=5584944

Mr Bugget web page is poorly structured but you can copy and paste the text onto a separate word document and read it properly. Essentially he is showing how to set it for max accel pump squirt, and to reduce the squirt you wind the adjusting nut in against the spring pressure.

Back off the acc pump nut a bit and it should stop dripping. Or nozzle could be bent too far down into venturi, causing the air intake to suck fuel out the nozzle.
