Split screen - front end - Does late kombi fit?

Hi,
I inherited a late model kombi complete front end including steering box and column. I am about to restore a 64 split screen kombi and am wondering if it will bolt straight in?

wont bolt in. only early wide 5 68 bays will. you can make them fit but better to get the early one. M

get & 68 front beam assy, & take the drum wheel-assys off it, then fit late dic-brake assys off the front end that you Have & you will end up with a "Bolt-In" disc brake front end
