A good way to sharpen up your driving skills.
You know you've pinched my 'line' ? [See my signature, below].
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

I reckon I did steal your line! Nice to know I'm not the only one who actually wants to drive em properly.
What you say about skills is 100% correct. If you can skid steer a car round a wet skidpan, you've got a much better chance of catching an issue on a
wet road.

good to hear you're out there and enjoying some Motorsport Pete
Fix the front to rear rake and it will like a different car
Why so much tyre pressure?
Still on the narrowed beam?
What diff did you end up going with in the new box? (S.T)

Got the results today. 20th outright out of 42 starters! 10th in class in the most popular class too. I'm pretty happy with that.
Hey Daimo,
Yeah, I need some proper front tyres and I think the narrowed beam has gotta go. I put 44psi in the rears to help get them sliding easier. It's an
old trick for understeering cars.
New trans is here ready to go in. Stockish AB late 1300 box with a superdiff and billet sidecovers. Not installing it before the new motor turns up.
Got discs and new king/link pins to go in all at the same time. Should drive a LOT better when it's all done.
