nos 36hp judson supercharger, what is it worth?

Hi all,
I have a NOS Judson for a 36hp that is sitting in my display cabinet in the lounge room. I want to know what it is worth, for two reasons, first for insurance, second I may sell it soon. I do not have any boxes, unfortunately they were too far gone. I only have the blower and the oiler, again I do not have the bottle as the previous owner informed me the box was so bad it fell out and broke. Neither of these items have EVER been on a car. I have owned them for about 10 years I think. I can't remember what I paid for them both.

I am thinking around the $2000-2500 mark, am I close, on the money or miles away?

Cheers Ian

hi Ian,

IMHO I think you are a bit high if it is not 100% complete. The 36's used a double pulley and you also need the carby linkages and the carby top bit. So if you don't have these then the vlue is a bit reduced. However saying that a NOS blower is not something you see too often so it depends who has money to burn....

oh, I have a complete 36 and 2 x 40's which one day will go on my 63 sunroof and my ghia.... The 36 is for a secret project for when I retire.....

And fuel pump spring... The vanes may need to be checked out as well. Apparently the can dry out. They are not that hard to open and close. Photos of the inside help for proof of condition as well

Have a look on the samba and judson register for pricing ideas as well
