Torque tube on L bugs.


The torque tubes on L bugs should they be welded all the way round the tube,( not sure on beetles this my first one ), Don't want to put it back together and find out its wrong.

He possibly means the torsion bar tubes.

Yes That's it Grumble, just beside the shock mount, the tub is split all the way around, does it need to be welded? Not sure if its factory.
