Hi Adrian,
I am overseas until Jan 6, but have a 1 owner before me, fully original 62 type 3 notch. Low miles, time warp, absolutely reliable, which periodically
gets used as a daily driver for a few months at a time, depending what I pull out the shed to use. Have done 3 of 600 km round trips In it last year
which was a pleasure.
One of the earliest notches in Aus or anywhere, original everything.
If I lock down a 356 it may be for sale.
On full NSW rego of course.

Hey Adrian
I have a 63/64 square back cut into a ute, it was engineered in NSW with a Subaru engine and has some of the paperwork and two subi motors that come
with it - the body work and lines on this thing I reckon are one of the better ones I've seen inc the use of a dual cab Kombi rear window graft etc
etc...
I need $2500 ono for it - however it needs a fair bit of work to put back on the road, half a dozen rust repairs and engine installed (type3, type1/2
or one of the subi's - whichever way you choose)
So it doesn't meet one of your requirements of being close to the road, but the budget etc might get you an awesome looking truck on the road if you
have the time frame to get the work done to it...
Ute is in VIC and currently in storage (and covered in some spare parts) so I'll have to dig it out to get more pics etc if you're keen
I do have a couple of when i got it and ill try to load them here or can text/email them to you
