Battery charger / jumpstart - booster brick
So, after facing yet another flat battery in the '67 and a the untimely passing of my SuperCrap Auto jump starter box and my inherited 12V battery
charger I'm on the hunt for a new solution.

I like the look of this one, as it has a boost function that will (with a good but just flat battery) get the battery charged sufficiently in 5 mins
to start the engine.

This looks like the booster to get. Slow battery drain in storage. Multiple starts between charges and compact, plus charges lots of other devices.
Does anyone have any feedback on these products, or have suggestions on similar or better models?

How about disconnect the battery when stored?
A small C-Tek charger that you can leave connected for long periods?
Buy a good quality battery that will last for a long time unused. If your battery needs jumpstarting, you are damaging the battery by letting it get
that flat in the first place.
I read it on samba, so it must be correct.
Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!

x2 these are fantastic, fit into the glove box and I just used one on the weekend to start a Harley. (It's not mine)!

Update.
I purchased the Projecta AC800 5400MA battery charger.
After about 5 mins on the 25A car start cycle the battery was charged sufficiently to start the engine.
Highly recommended at this stage.

I have had a 6volt deep cycle battery and a c-tek charger on my Ghia for over 4 years with no problems I use it every now and then but when I do want
to use it it starts.I had a lot of batteries fail in about the 6 month period prior to spending the extra few bucks for the deep cycle and the c-tek
to maintain it.

And it is brilliant on my Kombi as well. great thing is it keeps battery at optimal charge and prolongs life.
I know its not a Booster, but no need for one when this is used
