Soundproofing Engine bay
Would putting some sounddeadening material on the VW Beetle engine bay bonnet (inside of course) help to keep the sound down?
And do people sell kits for that ?

I think it would only help on the outside, try putting insulation inside the back seat and parcel tray, in the rear 1/4 cavity and make sure you have
the pillows shoved up the rear of the roof section

There is already dynamat there - and insulation in the rear roof section in the cavities.
I saw that in the States - they sell sound deadener for VW Beetle hood - engine and front.
