Summer Engine Oil

Is it a good idea to use a different engine oil for our very hot summers?

If so what would you recommend?

I just had an engine rebuilt, and they recommended and use Penrite HPR 30. With the extra Zinc, it is suitable for our older style engines, and air cooled engines. I also use it in my 1964 EH Holden.
