Veedubs on autobahn

Although this is a clip on the BMC of the fifties the tests were done on the german autobahn.

As you watch you will see ovals and splitty beetles

I never knew they made Morris Minors and Austin A30's in left hand drive, or would these have been made specifically for the tests?
