Pedals

Hi guys

Could someone please tell me how the pedal assembly comes out of my country buggy floor pan.
The assembly is very rusty and I'm struggling to see where the 2 sides seperate to remove from the tunnel.

Thanks Paul

Hi Paul
They can be a bit tricky with a lot of rust.
There is a bracket on the right, near the accelerator, with bolts through the plate on the floor pan.
The plate with the 2 bolts on the right hand side of the floor pan is just a support. Remove the bolts and the plate lifts up and out.
The plate with the 2 bolts on the left hand side of the floor pan is a bush with a circlip on the outside. Take the bolts out, remove the circlip and the lever, it just “slips” off the accelerator shaft (in your dreams) heat it with the oxy. Then the support plate slides off.
In these pictures it’s a CB pedal but not a CB chassis. You’ll get the idea. Sorry, no picture of the left hand side.
Good luck, don’t force it.
Cheers
Tony
