Holden Red Coil
Howdy all. My 12v coil has died on my 69. Ive got a coil from a holden red motor in the shed. Can I use this or will I stuff something up?

The Holden "red" engine had 2 wires on coil (+), yellow which is a resistor wire and a black wire, which is a cranking override to provide 12 volts
during crank.
The original coil is a RESISTOR type coil, needing an 8 volt supply. The voltage should be marked on the bottom of the coil.

I read it on samba, so it must be correct.
