subaru radiator placement

Has anyone seen or done this position for the radiator?. I am toying with the idea and will add a gurney lip / scoop to direct air. I will keep both rad fans and couple them so they both are activated when reaching 90C.
Any ideas, thoughts if it would be ok to try.

Cheers,
Binner

I personally would go with the idea you are toying with depending on how hot it runs already, I am considering putting the radiator on top of the engine in my baja.

Won't work in that position.

I purchased a panel with an EJ20 with the radiator in that position (albeit higher). The owner could not keep it cool and had the fans wired to run at all times the ignition was on. Just doesn't get the airflow.

If you're planning a vented engine lid - don't waste a good lid.

There's heaps of info on here as to what works or not.

I don't have a lid just a hacked up whale-tail with a radiator support built in.

done a few camp trips off road and have noticed some stone chips and road noise.
Was thinking of relocation and was just seeing if its been done before in the rear. There is so much room/space there as you can see.
