Disc brakes for new build.

Finished my front brakes today, these are for my new build using my 60 beetle, Machined a billet front hub with vented rotors and 4 spot calipers, no increase in track, still a bit more work to do lightening the brackets

About 5 days as i machined the hubs from scratch, then make the brackets with the engineering in mind, a lot of time fine tuning the design so it fit as it does. The parts are not that expensive but parts so far are about $850.00 and my time.

Not cheap but such good quality... What do engineers look for mostly with this upgrade

They have to access the design as they take on the liability by signing of on the modification, it is better to over build it and so the engineer has no issues with it rather than going back and changing things, the hubs are already covered by the engineer as the last set i made are on my green car and the cad drawing where submitted for them and approved, the only change is from 4 stud to 5 stud.
