Shift rod bushing for oval

Hi guys, just looking at the guide hole that the bush slots into on my oval pan, and the hole is peened over by factory by the looks so the slot on the bush itself is not wide enough to clip in "does this make sense??? And all I can find is a Bush that fits all models...... Anyone come across this???

Cheers
