Chrome windscreen trim!

How hard is it to replace the chrome windscreen trim with the screen in place?

if its in a Beetle forget it the c section has to slip into the rubber

Pull the screen leave the rubber on and then fit the chrome trim

Nice one Greg you could have said Impossible

forgot to say the more you work the trim with your thumbs n fingers the better it will sit when you think you have it right go around the rubber about another ten times it will move more into the rubber slot

Another trick is to run a bit of glycerin into the slot, before fitting the strip...it's good for the rubber. Chemists sell glycerin.
