Bashed VW's - Post em here
In a recent post someone asked about making a splitty safer in an accident. A bit macabre but has anyone got any pictures of some bashed VW's.
I'm interested to see how they fair up in an accident. No blood or guts please, just impact damage.
Here is a splitty I saw in Japan.

Yeah Jenz,
I get that kinda feeling when I'm driving my syncro sometimes, the syncro sits alittle higher has a heavy duty skid/bash plate under the front
plus the extra weight of the front diff would increase the effect abit!!
When in traffic and smart arses drivers chop in front of me and slam on the brakes, driving small Jap 'Mc Sports cars' I think fruit if I
didn't stop I'd ride right up the back of thier car and they'd be a smear on the dash. Not very nice, lucky I don't use the
'too fast, too furious' style of driving more like the 'too slow, too mellow'
my theory on traffic is "it's all about average speed"

Off thesamba.com
This is a 1971 double cab that got crushed by a couple of guys who had way too much to drink. it only had about 47,000 miles on it.
