Anyone fitted an Alfa Ti engine to a VW?

Alfas have boxer motors just like VW's This here engine is $550 with dual webers and looks nice and compact.

Any info/feedback on this conversion would be appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

personally, if you going to go to the trouble of water cooling your ride, you may as well go something like a 1.8 subi turbo, prolly cost about the same for the motor with more reliablity and power.....just my 2c

feedback= think longterm, how much trouble for what gain ??? How expensive are they to rebuild, are they hard to buy parts for etc etc

For the same $ you could buy a suby motor, been used before, and there are plenty of parts available

I like the look of the airfilter box ! and what size are the webbers? maybe buy and strip these items:jesus
