Hi Guys,
Can you fill me in a bit more about the noh2o get togethers. I had a squiz at the website and got the impression that it had not been updated for
awhile. is everyone welcome at the meetings etc ,and how does it differ from the VW Club.
I am fairly new to Perth so I am keen to meet as many interested in the VW as I can.
Thanks

You're quite right, the web site hasn't been updated for quite a while. This is only due to the people who run the collective having other
commitments, including keeping their VWs on the road! They are currently working on updating the web site. I've been along to the 2002 & 2003
Free n' Easy shows and a couple of the Como get togethers. I was also a member of the VW Club WA. Found the noh2o crew to be a younger group,
cruisier and for the most part noh2o. See you all at the Como.
Email Simon at humpty@iinet.net.au or one of the email addresses on the site if you want more detail.

We are alive and well
Thanks Paul D for putting this link in for the collective.
And yes we are alive and well, just a little low key.
NoH2O was started a few years back by a few of us alternative VW owners. Originally Paul J, Sandy J & myself were the contacts and the event
organisers. Paul & Sandy have pulled out of the day to day jobs for the collective & I have taken on the roll.
Unfortunately I designed the website when I had more time (& little knowledge). This has been a problem as the site has proved dificult to update
for various reasons & I find I have less & less time to do this. I have redone (scaled down) the website which I hope to have online soon.
With any luck a "gallery" section similar to thesamba.com site.
Anyway....Enough of my griping!
We have regular gatherings at the Como Hotel on the second Tuesday of every second month....The first one for the year is next month (Feb) so
hopefully we will see loads of new faces (and some of the regulars) for a few cool beers to bring in the new VW year. After this gathering I hope to
have some idea of what we will get upto during the year, and when I do I'll post the calendar here....So stay tuned!

Thanks for the info guys.
I was invited down to what I assume was your Free and Easy last November at Fremantle but I don't think I met to many from noh2o. (I had the red
70 cabrio).
I have been to a couple of VW club events and am glad to see there is also a youger contingent out there.
Simon, I did enjoy the website especially the layout, it was nice to see some colour on the screen and some of the photos were great. I hope you get
to update it soon and can keep it along the same lines.
I will try and make it to the como and meet a few faces (family permission pending).
Hope to see you there.

getting parents permission is easy, getting the wife's is harder. (she hates sharing with the other love in the garage)
I should rephrase the term "young" I didn't necessarily mean just in age but more a mentality.

Do you think seagull has "lost" more than just his mood?
But seriously....The updated site is in hand, changed the 'front page', streamlined the content and hope to have it visitor updatable.
See you at the next one...

Might be able to help you with the crank thing...But you might have to wait till I go to the farm next...Which will be in a few weeks.
What you up to anyway?
That scematic I sent you is pretty clear...Pretty much every wire on there you need...The rest you can remove.
To the rest of the crowd...See you at the Como on the 10th......Be there!

We was there i tel you! We was there!
Sorry you missed us seagull....We were there...
We sat out front near the drive through.
I got there around 8pm cause I got picked up by Keiran in his 23...And he runs on "Greek" time!
That thing is sweet and you should see the looks it get's going down the road!!!!!
We had a average turn out. A couple of factory Karman Cabs, A few bays, Keiran's 23 deluxe...just a small low key one.....I just wish people
would turn up when they say they are gonna.....
Maybe the next one will be better!
Tell all your friends....
