Enlighten me

G'day
I'm wondering if someone has imported a longblock of the US and how much it cost them? or if some one could give me an estimate of how much it would cost to import one, say its inital cost was $1500 at say 150 pounds. Do we still pay excise on it? and GST etc?
Thanks people.

I will be bringing back a container from L.A. before Christmas with my new Karman Ghia and a few other goodies in it too,
Email me If you like, Depending on when you want it, I may be able to bring it back with me, Probably just mounted up in an empty Engine bay of a desert treasure I find.

Cheers Tony
