Hi Everyone,
I'm just making up myself an avatar 100x100 pixels seems to be the norm (I think).
Just want to know what an acceptable file size (kbs) limit be on animated avatars?
Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks.

Thanks Tazz,
For the info,
I won't go to high with it. (i'm on dialup too.)
I put the avatar in the test area then use that address for the source, I've noticed that I can't post anything larger than about 50kb does this sound right? is the limit 50kb for posting an avatar this way?
Thanks,
BugSpray.

Yes.

I prefer people's avatars to be less than 10 kb as there can be 20 posts per page, so this could mean up to 1 MB downloaded per page viewed, which on a modem takes over 3 minutes.
