'60 Beetle B Pillar Indicators

I asked earlier about indicators on the B Pillar of early beetles, had a few conflicting replies and everyone wanted photos of what I had. Please see below, I have taken a photo of what is attached to the pillar, seems to be the baseplate for an exterior light? Or, exterior trafficators? Car also has amber indicators on front wheelarches and combination rear lights so assume the were put on after these pillar lights were no more?

If these are lights, can I still get the rest of the assembly somewhere?

i can help u out here
got the same lights on my oval, its a replacement for ur semaphores, or traficators. so u could find urself a set of semaphores and replace them if u wanted.

as for the lights, they r made by Hella Europe, and unfortnately r not made anymore, i found this out wen i broke off the lense at car lovers. it took me ages to find a replacement lense. i now hav 2 spare sets. they look like this.
if ur interested in a set let me know...

European coach makers is the most common (around here anyway) another name is elephant ears.
There are about 10 or so different versions, but here in oz I have only seen the hella ones. I too have these on me '59 beetle.
