I didn't even know it was for sale!

Nice work. Would have been good to see it show up at some manx club events before your sold it :(

Just out of curiousity - What's the story with the 5 stud rear wheels? Why are they 5 Stud?

Nice looking manx.

Ok i let it go for $6500, and as for the rear being 5 stud have you ever seen any 15 inch 4 stud centerlines for sale secondhand. Then think how often you see holden patern mags for salle for bugger all. Whan i rang teh DMV they said as it did not have to carry a spare wheel it did not matter if it was a different patern to the front and that answer was good enough for me:):bounce

So how did you convert it to Holden pattern? Did you just re-drill the drum? Or did you hide discs under there?

well maybe they have half a shovel :P i would have like to have kept it as it went like hell. But it was a cute little thing and I KNOW it would never have come home from Black Duck alive. Like some others I know I have no respect for machinery and if it brakes well out comes the nine inch grinder and the welder to make something stonger. Hee hee maybe the other project will be ready for then :thumb :thumb

As for the rear drums they were machined on the inside and a steel ring inserted for the extra strength required and then drilled to holden pattern

Yep. I know the owners, and organised the two to meet!!!!

Have seen the buggy, very nice, gave me some insiration to finish mine (any month now):thumb

as for that half a shovel holder; it took us about two days to work out what the hell it was there for!!!!

It will be coming on some manx trips, as both Father (white manx) and son (blue manx) will be joing the club very soon.
So next year on Frazer, there will be more northern QLD than southern Qld
