Anyone dynoed an old spec Pobjoy steroid motor?
Yes I'm talking about a Stan Pobjoy 1916.
If you have one and you are reading this post:
Have you had it on a Dynodynamics dyno in shootout mode?
If so how much horsepower did it make?
I'm really interested in finding out how far I can push my engine which is of similar specification.
I think I can squeese out another 3 hp to get 90 out of it but that's it without changing heads.
Alternatively does anyone have a quarter mile time for this engine in a full weight street car with a regular pulley?
Thanks in advance. CT

Hmmmm. Well I guess that's a no.
I highly recommend it. Tuning is the cheapes horsepower you can buy.

Something to think about - A/f ratios at the exhaust outlet, or collector is an average of all the cylinders.
If you want to get it spot on, find a hill on a free afternoon, read the plugs at various RPM runs, and tune each cylinder, I would guarantee that you
dont end up with the same jets in each throat.
