Window Washer Hose ????

Hi everyone
I have a 1974 L bug just about to makes debut on to the roads of Central Qld but before I can get a safety cert. I will need to fix the window washer. My question is where do I get the small (Dia) hose required ? Any suggestions would be really appreciated

Pretty standard! Pull one outta any wreck (right length naturally). Or probably Super Cheap could get you one in. Have you got an electric pump system? Or the air pressure bottle?

Hi

Its meant to take 42 psi so you will to get the right stuf, why not consider going to an electric pump? Then you could use "normal" hose.

You'll probably have to bodge up some new bracket system for fixing the bottle, but yeah, it's the best idea. Whack an electric pump in.

Hi

I just used the stock bottle with a tiny hole drilled in the top with an external pump mounted underneath.

Where did you fit the pump to the bottle?

Drill a hole and silicon? Sounds like a good idea! thanks for the tip, tho' more info would be great! Can you take a pic?

Thanks Guys
Electric sounds like it might be the way to go !
Don't imagine the current system has been working for years ans I can see a flat spare happening very easily
