Who has Insurance?

Ok Everyone, since I had my Accident with an Uninsured Driver. I wondered, If anyone else think's it is not worth the money!
I hope you all have at least Third Party Property.
Just imagine rear ending a Ferrari shunting it into an Antique Chandelier shop full of QC's and Top Barristers who earn $6K a day each......You wont enjoy the experience,I think!

Third party, fire and theft. If I hit anything, its covered. If it catches fire, I'm covered. If someone steals it, I'm covered. If its my fault and my car is damaged, I say thank heavens I have 2 cars in the back yard to rebuild with!

As an Insurance Investigator, I can only say you would have to be stupid not to have some sort of cover.
and ALWAYS read YOUR policy to see what is and what isnt covered,.
Ie Modifications.
It HAS to be included in YOUR policy, dont take the salesmans word for it.

Cheers

I got ALL my toys insured with Shannons.
You never know and kinda irresponsable if you don't.

i will be getting third party fire n theft, hopefully through shannons as they seemed the nicest about insuring a 30yr olf car that has been camperised and had an engine conversion to an 18yr old:thumb

I had to insure with shannons as no one else would insure my blown kombi. Shannons look after me and ive got no problems with them even tho i lost my licence once. Although they say they wont insure young drivers anymore but if you say a freind is insured with them who is a worse driver they usually give it to you... worked for a mate anyway;)

haha. yeah, i had a chat to the rep at one of the shows, he said it is usualy 3rd party only, but if he has a look and sees that i have done a lot of work on the car then they realise that i am not going to thrash it and will give me the proper cover.

The R.A.C.V fixed my mates car and because the uninsured person doesn't work they only have to pay the R.A.C.V back $5 per month.

Sometimes it pays to be a uninsured and unemployed.

But all my Cars have Full Comp and I believe everybody should have insurance.
