Seat Exchanging ?
I have heard a few discussions concerning people changing their seats with other car types - just exactly what other makes will fit? I have a '69
bug that I want to get some better seats for (not new, just good secondhand) and would like to know what will just slide straight in.
I have heard something about Subaru seats, Honda (?), but not sure, can anyone help?
Eventually I will be looking at the same with my '60 bug, are these the same size, etc?
Thanks

i have gemini seats in my baja.....lol thats kinda funny saying that as i only paid the deposit today lol but they are shit and i wouldnt recomend
them i am getting the seats out of a subaru L series sedan to put in there but if u want to be able to get into the back seat of a bug easily then u
need seats out of a hatch back car so they come forward good......get em attached to VW seat rails and bobs your mums brother....MX6 seats are great
and have great adjustment.....any late model seats as long as they are comfy and dont restrict the handbreak or being able to get to the seat belt

got early honda prelude (I think) seats in my 69, plenty of adjustment, fold forward, comfy, bit tight getting to the handbrake, but bearable - they
seem to be welded to the original seat rails, and I have an engineers report to say they're cool - which I believe you are supposed to get in NSW
