taking the body off - structural integrity

more questions!

when I take the body off is it likely to distort, bend or otherwise break - bearing in mind I have no roof (sardine top)

I had thought about bolting some bars across the top to make it a bit stronger, but if it's not necessary I'll save myself some time, and not have to drill holes that'll have to be filled later

cheers

Terry

My other car is a scooter, and it's in even more bits than my beetle. One day they will both be back together.......
