Show of interest: Disc brake conversion kit

Hi,
My rover crew (scouts) have just completed a disc brake conversion on our mud racing buggy, which runs a 67 bus gearbox (out of a splitty) with reduction hubs. Will have the pictures for you soon.
Anyway I was wondering how many people would be interested in locally sourced disc brake conversion kits, starting with late reduction hub designs and expanding into earlier and later reduction hub and non-reduction hub designs. BMW and Mercedes parts make up the bulk of it. It is a bolt on and go design.
I am not the one who will be doing it, it will be my mate cam who designed the setup.
I think the estimated cost per kit is $800 (for reduction hub type), but it should be lower. Apparently volkspower quoted $1400 to do it for us (sorry mate).
All profits will go towards our rover crew and our buggy.
If you have a machine shop and want to make and sell it yourself then that is a possibility too, let me know.

I think this is an excellent way for the Crew to raise funds - if it works...

As a Scout Leader, I hope it does!! :thumb
