need a cheap but good paint job

is there any vw owners that painted their own vw..
im looking for a good but cheap job as im on the pension.
but im also sick of looking at my crappy car.
right now it is this faded dark blue color with grey primmer spots.its a convertble 71 model..
yuk.
i am willing to pay and help rub it down.
so if there is anyone around morayfield queensland that would like to do a good deed please let me know..
