Normal driving i would say economy could improve - though it will take a while to get the investment back.

Just make sure they are dual IDF's - though

After putting twin 40's on my bus , driving was alot smoother and I noticed no difference in fuel use (14L/100). And not only do u get the induction noise but they also look shit hot when u lift the lid. bwooooooorr .........youll feel much better after hearing that noise.

I believe the Solexes were designed with fuel economy the No 1 item.. performance.... maybe later on ???

also " I run a pair of Webers on My Kombi"

just sounds so much BETTER than

" I run a pair of Solexes on My Kombi"

WEBER is one of the IN Words....
always impressed Me...
